We resign from Hard Hats for Christ:
Dear Dave Williamson
We are officially submitting our resignation to HH4C as of today 5/15/2017  11:00am PST.

Mountain Ministries Women of Faith Church and Mountain Ministries Church are entering a legal battle concerning the ownership of the property at 701 East E. Street, Rainier, Oregon and the Women of Faith addiction ministry.

We don't know who is going to win.  We are standing with Tad and Connie Kruse as ourselves, not as representatives or volunteers, affiliated or joined with Hard Hats for Christ.

Sincerely,
Kathy and Lou Aschenbrenner

Dear Prayer Partners
We have resigned from Hard Hats for Christ on Monday, May 15th.  This was not something that we planned to do.  It came about quite suddenly due to events taking place at the Women of Faith addiction facility.  There is a disagreement between the leadership that has caused such chaos and distrust that in a matter of days the number of women in the program has gone from 30 down to less than 10.  If it goes on much longer this entire ministry will be destroyed.

In other instances of a disagreement between church leadership and members of the church at other Hard Hat for Christ projects, we were always instructed not to take sides as this is not why we were put on the project.  We feel we must take a stand if this ministry is going to continue and that is why we resigned from Hard Hats for Christ.  We do not want to put Hard Hats for Christ in this disagreement.

The dispute is over the ownership of the property at 701 East E Street, Rainier, Oregon  and over who is in charge of the Women of Faith addiction program.

Today, the remaining women in the program were put into a van and taken to the Men's facility 20 miles away near Rose Valley, WA.  At that same time, the men from the Men's facility were brought here and moved into the women's building.

The women that did not want to go to the men's facility (and their children) are now homeless.

Yes, lawyers have been hired and police have been notified but as of this moment in time, the police do not have eviction capability.

Please be in prayer.
Kathy and Lou Aschenbrenner
