I'm going to remember 2014 as the "FEAR NOT" year.

Isaiah 41:10 - Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

We had much to praise the Lord for in 2014. 

HE granted us Safety, Mercy and BLESSINGS

 but we prayed our way through it.

We were excited when Jeremy and Sarah announced that they were expecting... and so happy when Baby Roman arrived healthy on May 26th.  About two weeks later his occasional spitting up became an alarming inability to hold anything down.  Several times he was in the hospital for concerns about his weight loss.  Not only that but he was not getting enough to grow.  His head diameter and height paused. At seven weeks Roman was back down to or even slightly below his birth weight and his head diameter and length had not changed since his two week mark.

I know the power of prayer and many joined us in lifting Roman up. There did not seem to be a reason for this to be happening. The tests done at the hospital brought no answers. The doctors were not able to put their finger on the reason for it.  Formula's were tried and Sarah's diet was changed until there was nothing left to try. He couldn't hold anything down. Then finally, in July, a little miracle ... Sarah put a little rice cereal in her milk and bottle fed Roman... he held it down. I still remember exactly where I was when Jeremy called me to say that Roman had kept one feeding in him. 24 hours later they were able to leave the hospital and go back home. Roman has been gaining and growing every since and is now enjoying various baby foods, too. Thank you, LORD! Here are some PICTURES OF ROMAN .

Our trip to see baby Roman in Michigan and meet Lou's youngest great grandson in Illinois began when we left Oregon the middle of April and ended on September 5th when we got back to the motor home. We were on the road for about five months and covered about 5,000 miles.

We helped John and Ruth Bole's daughter, Beka, and her hubby, Kevin celebrate her birthday in their new home in Michigan. She got a toilet for her birthday present.  Installed.  Beka's Birthday Present

We were at the MCC Quilt sale in Iowa. We stayed in the truck camper but parked at Anna Mary Yoder's. Here are pictures of  Sarah's Quilt.

We came back a few weeks early because Tad and Connie Kruse were gifted a trip to Israel and we wanted to be back before they left the middle of September.  It did give them peace of mind to know that we were back. We joined with all of Mountain Ministries in prayer for their safe return and we were very relieved when they came back home, away from all the Middle East threats.

Lou spent the rest of September getting the well repaired and fixing our awning. It had been torn and damaged in 2008 and it was time to replace it.  Lou figured out how to put a power awning on the motor home. POWER AWNING PHOTOs.  It works really well and it has been a blessing to be able to pull it in when the weather has gotten rough.  (Did you know we had a small tornado touch down in Longview, across the river from us?) We have had some really strange and weird weather. November has been much colder this year than other years we've been in the Northwest.

December did not start well.  A small electric heater started a fire in Lou's tool trailer on December 2nd and then a wind storm caused some problems with trees and power lines December 11th. 
We would like a nice quiet ending to 2014 without any further need to call upon the Lord's protection or to even make a phone call to 911.
