October is almost here but we feel like winter has already ramped up. We are in the middle of an unusual weather event that has brought three days of rain and some significant wind gusts to the NW. We are doing fine.
We're parked on the east side of a large building that shelters us from the wind. Things are blowing around but we're not feeling it in here. Lou's got the awning secured very well. The arrow in the upper left picture of the collage is pointing to a plastic pipe that has a steel pipe inside of it. That keeps the awning from bouncing in the wind most of the time. When the weather turns a little rough, like it is today, we tie the awning down to the golf cart for a little added wind insurance.
Now if we don't have any more leaks in the roof of the motor home like we did a few weeks ago... we're good !!
