High Surf on Northern California Coast
We enjoyed a beautiful California Valentine's Day watching the big waves pound the rugged cliffs and beaches as we drove Highway 1 from Bodega Bay north to Ft. Bragg. The sound of the surf was a constant roar with even louder rumbles as the bigger waves made themselves known. There was not just one good spot to watch the action and listen to the sea...there were 100 miles of spots. We left at 9am and came back twelve hours later praising the Lord and totally enthralled with the sights and sounds of the day.
