Hard Hats for Christ Project - Hartstone Bible Camp
Hartstone Bible Camp is near Potter Valley, California, where we worked on a Hard Hats for Christ project last winter. You might say it's "just up the road" from town but that would be a few miles up on a 7% to 12% grade. The church building in Potter Valley is not finished yet so we'll be helping a bit on it again this winter but our main focus will be the renovation of this very old log cabin building at Hartstone Bible Camp.
Last January when we were here, Dave Williamson, President of Hard Hats for Christ, came out to look over the log building. In October the building was lifted up, the rotted logs at the bottom removed and in just a few more days, the concrete forms will be completed for the foundation to be poured. Once the building is lowered onto the new foundation, Lou will be working on the interior doing the electrical and plumbing.
To follow the progress of the Hartstone Bible Camp River Lodge project and the Potter Valley Bible Church project, come back every couple of weeks and I'll have new pictures posted to their albums as the work moves forward. It is exciting to see the Lord's hands at work. Please join us in prayer for the safety of the volunteers helping and that this building will soon be in the Lord's service for many years to come.
