Hart-tish Park on Applegate Lake, South-Central OREGON

This summer, we are camphosts at Hart-tish Park on Applegate Lake near Jacksonville, Oregon. We are working for Glenn who has leased several campgrounds from the USFS. Our names were given to Glenn by the USFS and he contacted us last winter. We are not receiving a salary so we still consider the work we do here as volunteering with the USFS. Lou has been able to repair the water faucets so that drinking water is available in the picnic/day use area. Those had been non-functional for several years. Many of the picnic tables and grills are trashed. Our goal is to help YOU enjoy YOUR national forest campgrounds by keeping it clean and functional. We try to be a light and share the WORD along our way.
